Description of DEVITOX, 3 g (DiDent) Paste for devitalization

Paste for devitalization.

Paste composition:

• 48% paraformaldehyde
• 37% lidocaine hydrochloride
• 1% camphor,
• Peruvian balsam

Appointment:

• Quick and painless devitalization of the pulp before its complete or partial removal.
• Treatment of residual root pulpitis and pulpitis of permanent teeth.
• An additional means for devitalization during a repeat procedure after the use of pastes containing arsenic.

Properties:

Dental material DEVITOX without arsenic is a ready-to-use paste of brown color, contains:

• paraformaldehyde is an antiseptic that coagulates proteins, providing devitalization of pulp tissue,
• lidocaine hydrochloride - a local anesthetic that reduces the likelihood of painful reactions during pulp devitalization, camphor - which has an antimicrobial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
• Peruvian balsam - analgesic and anti-inflammatory.
