APPOINTMENT
The product is intended for use during dental treatment as a material for filling and remineralization of root canals. After mixing with Bio MTA+ liquid, the working time is about one hour. 4 minutes, and complete binding of the material takes place after approx. 2 hours. It has a remineralizing effect on tooth tissues, due to the high content of calcium ions. Silicon-calcium compounds contribute to the restoration of tissues after wall perforation and intracanal resorption. In addition, the Bio MTA+ product contains in its composition hydroxyapatite, which is a natural component of bones, thanks to which the material is perfectly integrated into their structure.
Bio MTA+ is especially recommended in the following cases: - perforation of the walls of the root canals, - intracanal resorption, - reverse filling of the root apex, - during direct pulp coverage, - during pulp amputation surgery, - in the treatment of teeth with incomplete root development. Bio MTA+ should not be used as a stand-alone permanent canal filling. After mixing, Bio MTA+ has a very plastic, dense consistency, does not flow, and sticks to the tool. Thanks to this, the application of the Bio MTA+ material is much easier compared to traditional MTA-type materials
