Consiflex type 1 is intended for use in orthopedic dentistry for obtaining anatomical casts and the main layer in the technique of a two-layer (two-stage or one-stage) cast for cases with significant flexibility of the underlying tissues.

Properties

Consiflex type 1 is a highly viscous silicone composition (vulcanized by the polycondensation reaction). The material is completed with a basic paste and catalyst gel, which are mixed immediately before use. The working time of the preparation of the molding material in the temperature range + 18 ... + 24 °C is - 1 minute, the time of hardening in the oral cavity is no more than 6 minutes. At the end of the hardening time, an elastic-elastic molding is formed.

Consiflex type 1 is well fixed in the perforated molding spoon, retains its dimensions for a long time, and the correcting layer of low-viscosity silicone material Consiflex type 3 is firmly connected to it.

Consiflex type 1 is not toxic, does not irritate the mucous membrane and does not cause reflex reactions.
