Impregum Penta Soft

Impregum Penta Soft is a polyester impression material of medium viscosity for single-phase impression removal technique.

The mass is designed for the Pentamix device, with which it is easy to mix and dose.
Impregum Penta Soft polyester material was developed and patented by 3M ESPE in 1965.

Polyesters have a unique chemical structure, thanks to which they have maximum hydrophilicity even in a wet environment and accurately reproduce the smallest details, regardless of the presence of moisture when removing the impression. They have increased fluidity and thixotropy (change in fluidity depending on the pressure exerted on the mass), which makes it possible to accurately reproduce all the details in the impression, while avoiding the flow of the mass into the oral cavity.

The advantages of Impregum Penta Soft are maximum hydrophilicity, which allows to reproduce the smallest details with high accuracy, regardless of the presence of moisture when removing the impression. It is especially important when taking impressions from works on implants, where maximum accuracy is important.

It is also distinguished by increased fluidity, thanks to which accurate reproduction of details and instant grasping after the expiration of the working time is obtained.
