The electronic digital tester for determining the electrical conductivity of pulpal tissues is intended for clinical diagnosis of the state of the pulp. The principle of operation of the device is to assess the patient's threshold of sensitivity to electric current irritation.

All test readings are automatically transmitted to the digital display located on the front panel of the device, and the doctor will always be able to record the digital value of the current strength to which the tested tooth *responded*.
