VITA classical coloring, thanks to the logical color classification, makes it possible to simply and reliably choose the color of the ceramic mass or restoration. It is the world standard for color definition. Manufactured by VITA (Germany).
The VITAPAN classical color scale consists of four color groups (A, B, C, D with different intensity and lightness from 1 to 4).
The location of the VITA shades of the classic shade family is as follows:
A1 ― A4 (red-brown)
B1 ― B4 (reddish-yellowish)
C1 ― C4 (grey shades)
D2 ― D4 (reddish gray)
Tips for determining color:
If possible, it is recommended to determine the shade under daylight conditions or standardized daylight lamps.
The walls of the dental office / laboratory should be in muted colors. The patient should be asked to remove lipstick or any cosmetics that may affect the determination of the color of the future work. It is desirable to cover clothes of bright colors with gray material.
Make your choice quickly, always based on the first impression, as the eyes begin to tire after approximately 5-7 seconds of determining the color.
Procedure:
Hold the classic VITA Vytapan Classic shade at an appropriate distance (at arm's length) near the patient's mouth.
Make your choice of color without hesitation by comparing VITAPAN Classic color samples with the color of a natural tooth.
If you prefer selection by color brightness instead of selection by shade, then we recommend placing the teeth in the color in the following order:
B1. A1. B2. D2. A2. C1. C2. D4. A3. D3. B3. A3, 5. B4. C3. A4. C4.
