OpalDam is available in two colors:

- "classic" pearlescent OpalDam resin.

- OpalDam Green is green in color with a pearly sheen, designed to make the resin clearly visible on the gums and teeth

Indications for use of Opal Dam liquid cofferdam:

- designed to protect the soft tissues adjacent to the teeth during the following procedures: whitening in the office, microabrasion, etc.

- when whitening one tooth, Opal Dam can be used to protect neighboring teeth.

Instructions for cooking Opal Dam:

1. Remove the cap from the Opal Dam syringe, then put the nozzle on top.
2. A retractor is installed for the cheeks. Rinse your teeth very thoroughly with water, and then dry them.
3. It is always necessary to remember that, isolating the mandibular arch, we do not allow saliva to get into the gaps between the teeth (the use of a saliva aspirator is necessary, as well as cotton balls placed under the tongue). We apply a liquid cofferdam to all tissues (soft) that are adjacent. Then be sure to light it with a photopolymerizer.
4. Using a protective barrier, cover about half a millimeter of enamel. When this substance spreads over a large area, it should be illuminated, but not completely (with a duration of two to five seconds). Then the excess substance should be removed using a special tool. Mandatory isolation of soft tissue around the teeth you plan to whiten, as well as two adjacent teeth.
5. When applied, be sure to polymerize this material (light: 20 seconds - all coverage areas). Opal Dam is reflective. After that, you need to clean your teeth using a professional toothpaste, removing the excessive part of the material, in no case can you damage the protective barrier.
6. To remove, you should hook it with a tool, grasping the edge. As a rule, the entire material is removed the first time.
