The Neo Spectra ST composite line is a family of new composite materials Neo Spectra ™ ST (LV and HV), Neo Spectra ™ ST Effects and Neo Spectra ™ ST flow from Dentsply Sirona with patented SphereTEC® filler technology.
SphereTEC® filler is spherical granules consisting of submicron particles of barium glass in combination with an optimized polymer matrix, which take the characteristics of the composite to a new level.
All composite materials of the Neo Spectra ™ ST line demonstrate manipulation properties that have no analogues, the possibility of quick and easy polishing, as well as a pronounced gloss, allowing to create composite restorations with natural aesthetics.
Neo Spectra ™ ST is a nanoceramic, light-curing, radiopaque universal composite, intended for both direct restorations in the frontal and lateral areas, and for indirect restorations - the production of inlays, semi-crowns and veneers.
Neo Spectra ™ ST composite is available in 2 consistency/viscosity options - LV (low viscosity) or HV (high viscosity), to choose the type of viscosity according to preferences for modeling the restoration, both types of consistency have the same properties: they do not stick to the tool, they perfectly adapt to the surface of the tooth tissues, they are plastic and resistant to draining, i.e. they keep their shape well, they have high resistance to shrinkage.
Neo Spectra ™ ST HV is a versatile high-viscosity composite, denser, packable than LV (low-viscosity) material.
Neo Spectra ™ ST HV consists of 5 universal shades of CLOUD shades (A1, A2, A3, A3,5, A4), which overlap the entire scale of VITA® shades due to the pronounced chameleon effect and unique optical characteristics.
Only 5 shades of Neo Spectra ™ ST LV material are enough for an effective aesthetic solution in the vast majority of clinical cases.
An additional shade of Bleach White (bleached white), supplied only in capsules, is suitable for tooth restorations after bleaching.
Composite Neo Spectra ™ ST HV is quickly and easily polished, has high resistance to staining, provides optimal aesthetics with proven durability of restorations.
