ESTELITE ASTERIA is a light-curing, radiopaque composite material intended for use in the restoration of front and lateral teeth. Suitable for carious cavities of all classes, including restorations requiring minimal or no cavity preparation. ESTELITE ASTERIA contains 82% by weight (71% by volume) of silicon-zirconia and composite filler. A high degree of filling of the composite ensures low polymerization shrinkage. The inorganic filler contained in ESTELITE ASTERIA is a spherical filler (average particle size: 200 nm, fractional particle composition: 100 to 300 nm) that provides excellent gloss retention and abrasion resistance. ESTELITE ASTERIA contains Bisphenol A di-(2 hydroxy propoxy) dimethacrylate (Bis-GMA), Bisphenol A polyethoxy methacrylate (BisMPEPP), 1,6-bis-(methacryl-ethyloxycarbonylamino)-trimethyl hexane (UDMA), triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) , mequinol, dibutyl hydroxyl toluene, and a UV absorber. The material ESTELITE ASTERIA uses the technology of acceleration of photopolymerization (Radical-Amplified Photopolymerization initiator technology - RAP technology). The technology of acceleration of photopolymerization reduces the polymerization time and provides a longer working time of the material (90 seconds).
