The Palodent system

• Precise, dense contact points: the rings are made of nickel-titanium alloy, which allows the teeth to be separated and then return to their original shape after use. As a result, a tight edge fit is ensured and an anatomically shaped contact point is created.

• Extended indications for the use of the sectional matrix system: the shape of the teeth of the ring helps the system to be well fixed even on a severely damaged tooth. Rings can be placed on top of each other to restore several teeth at the same time.

• Minimal Overhanging Edge and Finishing: The teeth of the ring fit snugly against the tooth, complemented by the use of a wedge and matrix that work together to produce a sealed, anatomically correct restoration, reducing finishing time.

• Compatibility of wedges and their characteristics: thanks to the V-shaped shape of the teeth, it is possible to place the wedges on both sides without obstruction. The thin edges of the wedge in the form of a wave compress and expand during application, minimizing damage to soft tissues.

The PalodentPlus system is modified on the basis of the previous one, now each element is updated and unique in its own way:

- Wedges - 3 sizes, anatomical, plastic, have a V-shaped shape. They are freely compressed, which facilitates their easy placement in the interdental spaces and, most importantly, protects the gums from damage.

- Wedges with a protective plate "wedge-guard" for isolation of the adjacent intact tooth, ceramic crown or veneer during preparation. After preparation, the protective plate can be removed, and the wedge can be used for further installation of the matrix system.

- Matrices 30 microns thick with perforated elements of 4 sizes:

3.5 mm - for milk teeth and premolars

4.5 mm - for premolars

5.5 mm - for molars and most class II restorations

6.5 mm with a tongue under the gums - for deep and large cavities.

The matrices have an ash ridge and an enamel roller in their structure, which makes it possible to immediately obtain the correct anatomical shape. Perforated parts of matrices and wedges allow easy insertion and extraction with specially designed tweezers. The stopper located on its working surface ensures reliable fixation, insertion and removal of each element. Thanks to the reverse design of the tweezers, the doctor's hand is always relaxed.

* Nickel-titanium rings have increased bending strength and shape memory. They have a plastic working part with V-shaped legs that clearly stand on a wedge.

Two types of rings - universal (for molars and premolars) and narrow (for premolars and milk teeth). Withstand up to 1000 autoclaving cycles.

* Pliers for installing rings - the curved working part ensures safe fixation of the ring.
