Metal contour sectional matrix
Intended for use in therapeutic dentistry to divide the proximal surfaces of adjacent teeth when filling carious cavities of the II class.
Properties
Matrices are made of special corrosion-resistant steel, 25μm thick.
Thin matrices are convenient to use for restoration of small defects, thick - for restoration of large carious cavities with destruction in the subgingival area.
Thick matrices keep their shape well, which allows in some cases not to use wedges when restoring the gingival border or the gingival wall.
