The iron is usually used for:

• introduction of a medical pad into the carious cavity;
• laying temporary or permanent filling material in a previously treated dental cavity;
• formation of a seal and high-quality condensation of the material to the walls of the cavity without the risk of formation of air layers.

The FALCON DR.452.110 iron is a rod-shaped handle that ends on both sides with working oblong planes 2.5 mm wide. This tool refers to direct-reverse ironing, as it is characterized by multidirectional working planes and their bending along the edge and plane. The grooved surface of the handle helps to comfortably hold the tool in the hand during manipulations.

The tool is cast from medical stainless steel, which allows it to be treated with any means for cleaning and disinfection, as well as sterilized under the influence of high pressure and temperature.
