Description Dental probe Falcon DD.201.320 (one-sided)

The tool is made of corrosion-resistant medical steel, has a one-piece construction, consists of the following elements:

• curved and at the end pointed working part;
• holder-handle (diameter 6 mm) with special anti-slip notches.

Diagnosis is carried out with a probe and a dental mirror. The probe provides ideal tactile sensitivity, and the mirror allows a thorough visual inspection of the detected problem area. Application of the diagnostic probe is as follows:

• detection of enamel softening, hidden carious processes; >
• clarifying the location of the mouth of the dental canal, determining its length, sensitivity;
• examination of fissures;
• examination of gums, periodontal pockets;
• detection of dental deposits.

Hand tools must be sterilized after each use. The following methods are used for this:

• dry heat;
• immersion in baths with disinfectants;
• autoclaving;
• ultrasonic cleaning.
