Biodentine™ was developed by the Septodont research group as a new class material that combines high mechanical properties with excellent biocompatibility and bioactive action. Several years of active joint research by laboratories of the Septodont company and French universities led to the creation of a new formula of cement based on calcium silicate, intended for the restoration of tooth dentin. Indication:
• In the crown part of the tooth: temporary restoration of enamel, permanent restoration of dentin, deep or large carious cavities, deep cavities from class V, root caries, direct pulp coating, pulpotomy.
• In root canals: perforations of the bottom of the tooth cavity and walls of root canals, external / internal resorption, apexification, retrograde filling.
