Metapex is a filling material (calcium hydroxide from iodoform) intended for filling root canals. It has excellent X-ray contrast and an effective bactericidal effect.

Formation of a protective hard tissue barrier in case of perforations, ossification, in areas of bone tissue resorption
It is used in the treatment of tooth canals with an unformed apex in milk teeth and periodontitis

It has a good antibacterial effect thanks to iodoform, which enhances the bactericidal effect. Ph - 12.5 (does not fall below 12 even 9 days after the initial introduction into the channel). After the introduction of Metapex, the site of inflammation becomes sterile after 48 hours - up to 99% of pathogenic microflora is removed.
Ready-made Metapex paste, mixed on an insoluble silicone base for permanent sealing of canals, in a syringe.
The paste is easily introduced into the root canal, and if necessary, it is easily removed from there.
