BMZ 15-E medical cabinets are intended for maintaining the sterility of flexible bronchoscopes and laryngoscopes.
Cabinets are installed in endoscopy rooms, manipulation rooms of medical institutions where endoscopic research is carried out.
Support for sterility is achieved through the use of special bactericidal ozone-free Philips or Osram lamps, the ultraviolet radiation of which makes the air in which the equipment is located sterile and ensures its aseptic storage in conditions that exclude secondary contamination by microorganisms. The service life of bactericidal lamps is 9000 hours.
The time-proven technology of maintaining sterility makes it possible to significantly save energy resources, disinfectants and personnel time.
The cabinet BMB 15-E is intended for long-term (maximum within 7 days) storage of endoscopic equipment that has previously undergone proper sterilization. For guaranteed support of sterility, the cabinet should work continuously day and night. The bactericidal lamp, which is equipped with the BMB 15-E cabinet, is covered by a screen, so UV radiation does not harm expensive endoscopic equipment.
Structurally, the cabinet is a frame made of aluminum profiles, on which metal composite panels are fixed. Polymer powder coating of metal surfaces protects the product from corrosion, allows surface treatment with disinfectants, and also provides an aesthetic appearance.
The cabinet door is hermetically sealed, reliably preventing germs from entering the sterile area. When the door is opened, the bactericidal lamp is automatically turned off and the halogen lighting is turned on. The upper section of the door is made of special tinted glass that blocks the impact of harmful UV radiation on the eyes of medical personnel, the lower section is a safe with a metal composite door that closes with a key.
BMB 15-E is equipped with 4 lozenges for placing endoscopes and 6 hooks for hanging the instrument, a stainless steel tray for collecting disinfectant is installed below. The cabinet is mounted on height-adjustable legs.
The electrical circuit of the cabinet includes a control unit with a ballast device that ensures a smooth start of the bactericidal lamp.
The indicator-control device records the working time of the bactericidal lamp, indicates the operating modes of the cabinet, automatically turns off the bactericidal lamp and turns on the halogen backlight when the door is opened.
Attention!
1. After the first loading, the door is not opened for 30 minutes.
2. To save energy resources and provide additional protection for endoscopic equipment, cabinets for maintaining the sterility of endoscopes work in the following mode: 30 minutes of work, 2 hours of break. Due to the economic mode of operation, the antibacterial lamp lasts for about 5 years.
3. If the removal of products exceeds 5 minutes, the next removal is carried out no earlier than after 30 minutes.
4. Complete resterilization should be carried out once every 7 days.
