R-Shaper perfectly repeats the anatomy of the root canals without causing transport and disturbance of the anatomy of the canals.
Due to their phenomenal flexibility and lack of elasticity, they follow the channel precisely and do not straighten it, keeping their original shape.
The lack of elasticity leads to another positive quality - the reduction of cyclic fatigue, which allows the use of R-Shaper files up to 35 canals of the front teeth or up to 17 lateral canals.
They have a cutting side edge. Extremely flexible and plastic, resistant to cyclic fatigue.
The speed recommended by the manufacturer is 375 revolutions, but if desired, it can be changed from 300 to 500 - intended for rotary tips (of any manufacturer).
A feature of R-Shaper files with shape memory is the protection against damage – in the case of thermal exposure (autoclaving), the shape of the file can be returned to its original position and in this case the file can be used. If the shape of the file has not returned after autoclaving, the file must be disposed of.
