When connecting the apex locator, 3 additional functions of the endomotor are activated:
"Auto start / stop" - when selecting this function, the motor starts only when the file comes into contact with the cavity of the root canal, when leaving the root canal - the file stops.
"Auto SlowDown" - automatic reduction of the speed of the rotating instrument in the root canal when it approaches the apex.
"Apical Action" - Auto Apical Revers / Stop - this function prevents perforation of the root canal. When the top of the root is reached, the rotating tool stops and is unscrewed.
