Very thin strips on a flexible base, coated with an abrasive (aluminum oxide).
Two different degrees of abrasiveness at different ends of the strip. The degree of abrasiveness is differentiated by color - the darker the color, the greater the degree of abrasiveness. First, gray and white syringes (1954 or 1954N) are used, successively - the gray part (coarse), then white (medium). Next, it is necessary to complete the polishing with a gray-yellow strip (1956) according to the same principle - first the gray part (soft), then - the yellow part (supersoft).
The center of the strip is not coated with an abrasive for ease and convenience of insertion into the proximal area.
