X-RAY FILM FOR intraoral radiography

General characteristics
SKYDENT E, is a high-quality intraoral X-ray film with high sensitivity double-sided emulsion (class E), which is characterized by high contrast, low graininess, high image quality and excellent resolution. This film is intended exclusively for intraoral radiography.

film base
Blue polyester material with a thickness of 0.175 mm, coated on both sides with a protective layer that protects the SKYDENT E film from mechanical and electrostatic damage.

Technical properties of SKYDENT E
• high sensitivity allows you to reduce the exposure by 30% - 50%, compared to class D, thus reducing the radiation load on the patient
• soft plastic (PVC) light and waterproof hygienic bag with rounded corners
• the package can be disinfected with any usual disinfectants
• the package is easy to open and easy to use
• on the opposite side of the radiation source, there is a lead foil that reduces the radiation dose to the patient (the back side of the package is marked as "back")
• easy recognition of the sides of the package, thanks to the depression in the upper corner of the package (the convex side indicates the front side directed to the radiation source)

Processing of removed X-ray film
Shooting is done in daylight. Removed films can be processed manually or in developing machines. Manual processing should be carried out in a dark room under safe lighting. Any liquid photochemistry of different manufacturers can be used for film processing. It is NOT RECOMMENDED to use photochemical powder!

packaging
To prevent all possible types of damage, SKYDENT E dental film is supplied in tropical vacuum packaging, enclosed in a marked cardboard box. The package contains 100/150 bags with film. Storage

SKYDENT E must be stored:
• in the original packaging in a dry and cool place
• at a temperature of up to 21 ºC and a relative humidity of 40 - 60%
• out of reach of harmful gases, vapors and ionizing radiation
• In case of long-term storage, the film should be stored in the refrigerator, and before use it should be allowed to adapt to room conditions for 2-4 hours.
