Prime & bond® Universal is a new improved self-etching adhesive for direct and indirect restorations. Manufacturer DENTSPLY DeTrey GmbH (Dentsply Detrit, Germany).

Prime & Bond universal adhesives in a 4 ml bottle complete with instructions for use.
Adhesive prime & bond universal provides simple application of adhesive for direct and indirect restorations and is able to attach to enamel, dentin, composites, zirconium and metals. Prime & Bond adhesives are universally compatible with conventional methacrylate light-curing composite restorative and cementing materials.
Indications for use of PrimeAndBond Universal adhesive system:
• Direct light-curing composite and compomer restorations.
• Veneers fixed with light-curing composite cement.
• Repair of composite, ceramic and amalgam structures.
• Dentin sealing before amalgam restoration.
• Cementation of indirect restorations and endodontic posts using DENTSPLY composite fixing cement (sold separately, not included in the delivery set).
In combination with Dentsply Sirona Self Cure Activator (sold separately, not included in the delivery set):
• Direct composite restorations of chemical / double hardening and restoration of the stump of the tooth.
• Cementation of indirect restorations and endodontic posts using self-hardening composite cement or dual-hardening cement.
