The latex-free Sanctuary rubber dam is made from polyisoprene, a material that closely resembles rubber. Like natural rubber, it has a polymer structure and physical properties, but without possible allergic reactions to latex protein. Engineered as a premium product, Sanctuary's latex-free rubber dam has high puncture resistance (10 times the minimum elongation compared to the original perforated hole), high tensile strength (over 20 mPa) and excellent elasticity (1.0 mPa). These combined characteristics are of decisive importance for the practical and effective use of cofferdam.
