Flowable restorative radiopaque composite of low viscosity, activated by light of the visible spectrum. All shades are translucent and provide the possibility of polymerization up to 4 mm deep.

Indication:

• The basis for direct restorations of I and II classes
• Laying for materials for direct restorations
• Sealant for pits and fissures
• Restoration of minimally invasive prepared dental cavities, including small restorations in areas of occlusion that are outside the load
• III and V class restorations
• Locking undercuts
• Removal of small enamel defects
• Elimination of small defects of aesthetic indirect restorations
• Restoration of composite and acrylic temporary materials
• Restoration of the destroyed part of the tooth and the formation of a crown stump in cases where at least half of the crown part of the tooth is preserved as a support

Preparation

You should clean your teeth with a water-pumice suspension to remove stains from the surface

Choice of shade

Before isolating the tooth, select the appropriate shades of Filtek™ Bulk Fill flowable restorative material using the standard classic VITAPAN shade palette. Regarding the use as a sealant or for building a stump: for the purpose of easier identification, it is better to use a contrasting shade.

Note

Because Filtek™ Bulk Fill flowable restorative material is translucent, the placement of the restoration, the underlying tooth color, or adjacent restorations may affect the final appearance of the liner/base.

Insulation

For insulation, it is recommended to use a rubber dam. You can also use cotton balls and a suction device
Causing.

Single-dose capsule

Insert the capsule into the restoration dispenser.

Causing

Avoid bright light in the work area. Exposure to bright light can lead to premature polymerization
Extrude Filtek™ Bulk Fill Flowable Restorative Material. Begin application in the deepest parts of the prepared tooth, keeping the tip close to the surface of the tooth. While extruding material, slowly raise the tip so that it is slightly above the material being dispensed to minimize air entrainment. Make sure that the tip does not sink into the material. For proximal sites: hold the tip against the matrix to promote flow of material into the proximal cavity.
Application as a base/substrate. Leave at least 2 mm on the occlusal surface of the cavity for universal composite or masticatory material. Similar occlusal layers made of a universal composite or material for chewing teeth provide strength, wear resistance and aesthetic qualities necessary for restorations of chewing teeth.
Extension of the stump. Squeeze the material from the syringe into the undercut areas, around the pins. Fill the prepared tooth.
Application as a sealant. Apply the material to the prepared surface.
Light cure the restorative material as described below

Polymerization

This product should be cured with a halogen or LED lamp with a minimum light intensity of 550 mW/cm2 in the 400-500 nm range. Polymerize the surface using a high intensity visible spectrum light source. Keep as close as possible to the restorative material during light curing.
