Neo Spectra™ ST Effects is a nanoceramic, light-curing, radiopaque universal composite with patented SphereTEC® filler technology, designed for direct and indirect restorations in the frontal and lateral areas for clinical situations with increased esthetic requirements.
SphereTEC® filler is spherical granules consisting of submicron particles of barium glass in combination with an optimized polymer matrix, which take the characteristics of the composite to a new level.
Neo Spectra™ ST Effects complement the palette of universal Neo Spectra™ ST shades with D1 and D3 opaque dentin and E1 transparent enamel.
Neo Spectra™ ST Effects material is only available in HV (high viscosity) form, because this viscosity is the best option for modeling the dentine core (shades D1 and D3) and the cutting edge (shade E1).
The combination of universal and dentine shades prevents the "grey effect" or darkening, which is observed in the restoration of cavities of III, IV classes, as well as large restorations of chewing teeth. Thanks to the SphereTEC® spherical filler, the concept of simplified layer-by-layer application is realized in large restorations of the anterior group of teeth, which ensures simplicity and predictability.
Shades D1, D3, E1 are also available in liquid form in Neo Spectra™ ST flow material.
