Filtek™ Z250 is a universal light-curing microhybrid composite sealing material manufactured by 3M ESPE. Composite from the 3M ESPE Filtek family.
The Filtek™ Z250 set consists of: 8 syringes (4g each): A1, A2, A3, A3,5, B3, C2, D3, UD; 1 bottle with Adper Single Bond 2 adhesive (6ml), 1 syringe (3ml) of Scotchbond cleaning gel, 1 trial set of Sof-Lex discs, accessories, shade scale.
Unlike microhybrid composites of previous generations, Filtek Z-250 contains a larger number of smaller particles. The material is easy to model thanks to its exceptional elasticity, while being dense enough to ensure an optimal edge fit.
Indications for the use of Filtek Z250 composite material:
• Class IV cavity filling in frontal and chewing teeth;
• Tabs, overlays and veneers;
• Sandwich equipment;
• Stump superstructure;
• Splinting.

Recommendation for the use of composite material Filtek Z250 :
• Apply the material in layers. Do not create layers thicker than 2.5 mm (2.0 mm for UD shade)
• Polymerize each layer:
- Shades (A1, A2, A3, A3.5; A4, B1, B2, B3, C3, D3, I): layer thickness - 2.5 mm / polymerization time - 20 sec
- Shades (B0.5, C4, UD): thickness - 2.0 mm / polymerization time - 30 sec
