Intended for use in therapeutic dentistry for etching enamel and dentin before filling carious cavities.
Composition and main properties
Gel for etching enamel and dentin. Contains 37% phosphoric acid and is a gel preparation for acid etching of enamel and dentin. Effectively removes the lubricated layer, creating conditions for enhanced bonding. It is easily squeezed out of the syringe and applied to the etched surface of the tooth, does not run off it, is well visible due to its blue color. It is used in the stepwise etching technique: first, the gel is applied only to the enamel, and after 15-20 seconds to the dentine and left for another 20 seconds. After that, rinse with water from the dental unit.
