Composite sealant and bonding agent PermaSeal is a light-curing, unfilled resin based on methacrylate. PermaSeal reduces microleakage when applied to the edge of Class V composite restorations. It is used in the doctor's chair or in the laboratory for the final coating of temporary plastics. PermaSeal has good adhesion to temporary composite restorations.
Material property:
- Light-curing, unfilled methacrylate-based resin.
- Has adhesion to composites and etched enamel.
- Has high fluidity, penetrates well into the smallest cracks and pores.
- Strengthens the restoration surface.
- Protects and renews the surface of old composite restorations.
- Use in the cervical region reduces the likelihood of postoperative tooth sensitivity.
- Applied using the "Black Micro FX tip" cannula-applicator
- Hardens with an ultra-thin layer.
- Minimal formation of an oxygen-inhibited layer on the surface.
- After some time, it is erased from the surface of the restoration, remaining only in microcracks and pores.
Indications for use:
- Postbonding during aesthetic restoration of teeth with composites.
- Renewal, strengthening of the surface layer and restoration of the "dry shine" of old composite restorations.
- Rapid creation of a shiny surface of temporary restorations and crowns ("liquid polisher").
Recommendations for use:
The surface of the temporary crown is smoothed. PermaSeal is rubbed into the surface with a brush and is easily blown with air. Light curing for 20 seconds.
