Denture brush, GREEN
Dentures are an excellent replacement for damaged or missing teeth. Like natural teeth, they need regular high-quality cleaning to remove bacteria and food debris. Failure to comply with hygiene rules can lead to the development of fungal or bacterial infections of the oral cavity, gum inflammation, caries, and bad breath. To prevent these problems, specialists have developed denture toothbrushes. They promote effective cleaning of products, inhibit the growth of microbes and protect oral health.
How is a denture brush different from a regular brush?
1) It has two heads on each side: one with soft bristles for cleaning the smooth surface of dentures, the second with harder bristles, formed into a bunch, for cleaning hard-to-reach places, crevices, and clamps.
2) Specially shaped bristles to match the shape of the dentures.
3) Ergonomic handle: promotes better cleaning of devices.
We do not recommend using a regular toothbrush for cleaning, as the hard bristles can scratch and damage the artificial teeth.
What are the benefits of a denture brush?
1) Soft bristles. Since dentures are softer than natural teeth, their care must also be more gentle. The denture brush has soft but durable bristles that effectively clean the surface of the product without causing damage or abrasions.
2) Two heads for high-quality cleaning. A denture toothbrush has two heads designed for different purposes. Thus, the flat head is suitable for cleaning smooth surfaces, the conical head is suitable for hard-to-reach places and “artificial gums”, where the most bacteria and food debris accumulate. Thanks to this, all areas of the dentures can be effectively cleaned without leaving any room for germs to grow.
3) Easy cleaning process. The comfortable ergonomic non-slip handle and the special shape of the toothbrush facilitate quick cleaning of dentures. Apply special toothpaste and brush for two minutes. Cleaning fixed dentures is similar to the process of cleaning natural teeth. Removable items must first be washed with a special solution and thoroughly cleaned with a brush and toothpaste.
4) Availability. Toothbrushes for dentures can be found in regular pharmacies, dental clinics, and online stores.
