Indications for use:

• desensitization of the tooth neck
• local prevention and treatment of tooth enamel caries
• mineral sealing of fissures.

Properties: Enamel-sealing liquid in combination with calcium-copper hydroxide during their successive application provide deep fluoridation of tooth enamel or bone cement of the neck of the tooth.

Deep fluoridation, unlike ordinary fluoridation, refers to the formation of submicroscopic CaF2 crystals (50 A) in the pores of the loosened zone of the hard substance of the tooth. This happens spontaneously after applying enamel or bone cement first with an enamel-sealing liquid, and then with medical calcium hydroxide. Silicic acid is formed as a result of the reaction between these substances.

CaF2 crystals, packed in silicic acid in pits about 7µ deep and thereby protected from mechanical impact (for example, when chewing food), create an optimal environment of fluoride ions, which, together with the mineral salts of saliva and enamel-sealing liquid, provide one time more effectively than other fluorine-containing drugs.

During fluoridation with other drugs, for example, sodium fluoride or amine fluoride, a reaction with the calcium of the dental substance first occurs, which naturally adversely affects the condition of the enamel. As a result of this reaction, relatively large CaF2 crystals are formed, which are unable to penetrate deep into the funnel. They are on the enamel surface for a very short time, are quickly removed due to mechanical effects and therefore cannot affect the remineralization processes.

Unlike simple fluorides, such as sodium fluoride, enamel-sealing liquid does not have a toxic effect due to the sequential application of drugs (enamel-sealing liquid and medical calcium hydroxide).

Methods of application:

Desensitization of the neck of the tooth: After removing plaque from the neck of the tooth with the help of a brush and thoroughly drying it with warm air, the neck is abundantly moistened for 1/2 minute with a cotton swab soaked in enamel-sealing liquid. After that, without making an intermediate rinse, the neck of the tooth is also thoroughly moistened with medi-calcium hydroxide. Only after that you can rinse. After two repetitions in 1-3 weeks, the procedure is subsequently carried out 1-2 times a year.

Caries prevention by means of deep fluoridation (mineral sealing of enamel):

The teeth, cleaned with a toothbrush (including the interdental space), after relative drying with warm air with the help of an air blower or suction, are processed in a quadrant, that is, they are abundantly moistened with an enamel-sealing liquid using a tampon soaked in it.

Then, without rinsing, it is abundantly moistened with medical calcium hydroxide (also with the help of a cotton swab). After that, you can rinse your mouth.

The procedure should be carried out 1-2 times a year.

Mineral sealing of fissures: Fissures are pre-cleaned, minimally removing the solid substance, dried with warm air and thoroughly moistened with drugs, as in caries prevention.

Fissures, on which synthetic substances are usually applied, with this technology are covered with a mineral substance (hydrous silicon oxide).

Enamel-sealing liquid allows for highly effective mineral sealing of fissures, preserving tooth tissue as much as possible. Sealing is caused by powerful remineralization with the participation of saliva as a result of deep fluoridation and the oligodynamic effect of traces of copper.

In the future, the procedure is repeated once a year as part of caries prevention through deep fluoridation.

Note: If you accidentally swallow a large amount of enamel-sealing liquid (more than 5 ml), it is recommended to drink water or milk.

In the doctor's office, it may be recommended to use liquid gypsum milk (1 teaspoon per 1 glass of water) as an antidote.

Enamel sealing liquid (5 ml + 5 ml) or (20 ml + 20 ml)

Composition: 100 ml of solution contain: 7.0 g of anhydrous magnesium fluorine silicate, 0.3 g of anhydrous copper fluorine silicate-|| .

The composition also includes: 0.1 g of sodium fluoride (as a stabilizer), distilled water.

100 ml of liquid for the second stew contain: 10.00 g of highly dispersed calcium hydroxide. The composition also includes: methylcellulose, distilled water.
