Enamelast™ fluoride varnish is a flavored, xylitol-sweetened 5 percent sodium fluoride in a polymer medium, supplied as a single dose in a blister pack (0.4 ml).
Indications for use
Enamelast™ fluoride varnish is a 5 percent sodium fluoride in varnish medium that produces mechanical/chemical occlusion of the dentinal tubules in the treatment of tooth sensitivity.
Instructions for use
1. Before use, brush your teeth thoroughly, grind with rubber cups or wipe with gauze.
2. Open the blister pack, bend it and remove the foil covering.
3. Slightly dry the area to be treated.
4. Using a disposable brush, apply a thin, smooth coat of Enamelast™ to the dry surface of as many teeth as possible, as if applying paint.
NOTE
The brush can be bent at an angle of 90 degrees for easier access.
Enamelast™ hardens when in contact with water or saliva. Ensure the contact of cheeks, lips or saliva with the teeth or carefully process the teeth with cool water. For aesthetic reasons, ask patients NOT to "lick" their teeth for several minutes after applying the product.
Patients should not brush their teeth, use dental floss, chew hard, sticky or hot food for 4-6 hours after treatment. Enamellast™ fluoride varnish will gradually come off with each brushing.
