The microabrasion method was proposed by T.P. Croll (1989) to reduce the surface layer of enamel with mild or moderate fluorosis and hypoplasia. The method also makes it possible to improve the structure of the surface layer of enamel by masking subsurface color changes and imparting stronger reflective properties to the surface layer. To achieve the best result when performing microabrasion, we propose the following algorithm:

• Isolation of gums with liquid rubber dam

• Protect the eyes of the patient, assistant and doctor with glasses

• Applying the Opalustre mixture and rubbing it in using slowly rotating cups

• Removing the mixture

• Tooth polishing using fluoride paste

• Registration of color changes of spots
