Retraction thread LUXOR #1 Blue with ALUMINUM SULFATE
It is easily packed in thin delicate tissues, for example, the lower front teeth. A thread impregnated with ALUMINUM SULFATE is recommended for bleeding control in the case of gingival and periodontal veneers, as well as for restorations of classes III, IV and V. It is also recommended as a lower thread by the method of double packing.
It is also recommended for use on front teeth and premolars in cases where the tissues are moderately tender. Threads #1 and #2 are especially effective for controlling bleeding and/or retraction during crown preparation. Floss #1 is also used as a protective thread before preparation of anterior teeth.
