Calasept calcium hydroxide

The drug is used in dental practice as an intracanal medication for endodontic treatment of teeth, as well as for all kinds of dental injuries.

When do we use calcium hydroxide?

Calcium hydroxide (Calasept) for primary endodontic infection with symptomatic lesions, because it works well on the primary flora and is the only material in dentistry that can neutralize the main antigen of gram-negative microbes (lipopolysaccharides).

As soon as the dentist receives symptomatic apical periodontitis or an acute apical abscess, there is no dispute about using Kalaspet.

Calasept

• Kalasept is used to seal the canals in granulating and granulomatous periodontitis with the aim of disinfecting the canals, maintaining a constantly high alkaline pH environment in them at the level of 10-12.5, as well as for the purpose of restoring normal bone structure in periapical tissues instead of pathological tissues (granulomas).
• In case of tooth root fractures for the purpose of consolidation of fragments or their encapsulation and for the restoration of normal bone structure in the area of injury by means of stimulation of a powerful osteoblastic process;
• When closing accidental perforations in the crown part of the teeth and in the area of bifurcation and trifurcation, as well as at any level of the root canal.
