Glass polyalkenate fixing cement
Appointment
Ionolat-F is intended for use in dentistry for fixing crowns and bridge prostheses, orthodontic structures, inlays and pins.
Properties
Cement consists of powder and liquid. Cement powder is finely ground uncolored chemically reactive fluorine-containing glass. The liquid for mixing cement is an aqueous solution of polyacrylic acid with the addition of activity regulators.
To clean surfaces from dirt and ensure adhesion, a conditioner is used - a 10% aqueous solution of polyacrylic acid.
The working hour when mixing powder and liquid in a ratio of 1:1 (1 scoop of powder to 1 drop of liquid) is 1.5-2 minutes at room temperature. The duration of hardening in the oral cavity is approximately 5 minutes.
Ionolat-F has good adhesion to dentin, enamel and metal elements of restorations. Due to the long-term release of fluoride ions, a high anti-caries effect is ensured. Cement is radiopaque.
