Basically, with the help of an excavator, they extract:
- dead, softened dentin with complicated caries from formed cavities;
- food plaque and dental particles from cavities;
- filling material of a temporary nature and from old fillings;
- hard dental tissues, which were previously cut with boron;
- granulations from dentogingival pockets with pathological damage.
Excavator FALCON DR.609.170 is a two-sided tool, which consists of a handle in the form of a rod with notches and working surfaces on both ends of the handle. The working surfaces have the shape of round curved spoons with a width of 1.2 mm with very sharp edges, which allow you to perform the procedure quickly and without significant discomfort. Notches on the handle form a grooved surface that helps to comfortably hold the tool and accurately carry out all the necessary manipulations.
The tool is made of medical steel, which makes it possible to treat it with any disinfectant and detergent, as well as to subject it to autoclaving.
