Falcon DS.537.011 (130mm) scissors have found their application in dentistry, surgery and microsurgery. The working edges are curved along their plane and have a narrowed shape. The sharpening angle of the cutting edges is 40 degrees. Products are used for the following purposes:
cutting applied sutures;
periodontal;
soft tissues located in the patient's oral cavity.
The instrument is made of medical stainless steel AISI 420, characterized by increased strength characteristics. A special anti-reflective TiAlN coating simplifies sterilization, increases mechanical strength, and protects against damage and scratches. The instrument is reusable; to protect patients and staff from cross-contamination, effective methods for cleaning microsurgical articulated scissors are provided:
Disinfection in an ultrasonic bath. Solutions that do not contain chlorine are used.
Steam sterilization (temperature 134 degrees) in an autoclave with mandatory drying of the instrument before packaging.
Chemical cleaning in solutions with neutral pH and in the absence of chlorine.
