Superacryl Plus (Superacryl Plus) powder is a base plastic for hot polymerization

Description:

• Mesh methylmethacrylic polymer. The base plastic is polymerized under the influence of heat. It is used in a set with liquid .
• Liquid for base plastic of hot polymerization.
• For the manufacture of bases for complete and partial removable prostheses, orthodontic appliances, repair of removable prostheses and indirect rebasing. Base plastic of hot polymerization, which has the highest bending strength, good adhesion to acrylic teeth, low water absorption and solubility in water, and high color fastness. The material makes it possible to apply various types of polymerization, it is easily ground and polished, and thanks to the maximum bending strength, it reduces the risk of breakage.

Composition: polymethyl methacrylate, zinc oxide, pigments;

Characteristic:

• a modern variant of methacrylate base resin. The basis is methyl methacrylate polymer in the form of powder and net methyl methacrylate in the form of liquid. SUPERACRYL® PLUS is available in six colors O (transparent), U, V, Z, Y and X (with fiber).

Indication:

• base of general removable replacements;
• base of partially removable replacements;
• manufacture of orthodontic devices;
• indirect rebasing of removable replacements.

• shortened polymer solubility time;
• extended dough plasticity interval;
• high bending strength;
• low solubility in water and hygroscopicity;
• good processing and ability to polish;

• the possibility of using different methods of polymerization;
• complies with the ISO1567: 2000 standard.

Processing:

Preparation of the dough:

• recommended mixture ratio: 22 g of powder and 10 ml of liquid, which is in a volume ratio of approximately 3:1. Leave the mixed material in a closed container for about 12-16 minutes at a temperature of 23 °C. The dough is ready for processing when it stops sticking. The plasticity interval is approximately 10 minutes at a temperature of 23 °C.

Ripening time: 12-16 minutes.

Plasticity interval: 10 minutes.

Total working time: 25 minutes.

• then we use the classic method of cuvetation in a plaster mold, or if necessary, the mold dough is processed by the so-called freehand method (in partially removable replacements) with further polymerization in a pneumatic polymerizer.

Method of polymerization:

1) Classical polymerization:

• lower the cuvette into cold water;
• heat to 70°C for 30 minutes;
• keep the temperature for the next 30 minutes;
• raise the temperature to 100 °C for 30 minutes;
• keep the temperature for the next 30 minutes;
• the total polymerization time is 2 hours.

2) Polymerization is accelerated:

• put the cuvette in cold water;
• heat to 100 °C;
• keep the temperature for 45 minutes.

3) The so-called polymerization. rapid boiling:

• the cuvette is placed in boiling water (100 °C);
• keep the temperature for 40 minutes;
• this method of polymerization is suitable only for partial replacement of max. 4 teeth.

4) Polymerization in an injection polymerizer:

• polymerization without cuvetation, directly on the lesions;
• pressure: 0.6 MPa;
• temperature: 100-110 °C;
• time: 10-15 minutes;
• this method of polymerization is suitable only for smaller partial replacement and repair of replacements.
