Ultrapaline opaque dentin ODA2 30g
Ultrapaline opaque dentin is a mass that, after sintering, gives the same shade as the main dentins, but has greater saturation, i.e. greater concentration of colors and less transparency.
The main purpose of opaque-dentin masses is to provide the ability to obtain the required color and sufficient depth of this color with a small thickness of porcelain in the denture. They can also be used to prevent color loss on pontics.
The basic physico-chemical characteristics of opaque dentins practically do not differ from those of dentin, and modeling of opaque dentine masses should be carried out using the same technique that is used for dentine masses. Opaque dentins are sintered according to the program for sintering dentin and enamel masses.
The shades of dentin and enamel compounds "Ultropalin" correspond to the Vita-Lumin color system.
The combination of dentins, opaque dentins and enamels is shown in the table
If necessary, to increase transparency, it is allowed to use a mixture of dentin and opadentin powders in a 1:1 ratio as opadentine. When modeling in this part, you can use either a mixture of cervical masses with basic dentin, or with opaque dentin. Opaque dentin should be mixed with the cervical mass in proportions ranging from approximately 1.5:1 to 1:1 (remember that the main dentin is combined with the cervical mass in proportions from 4:1 to 2.5:1). This is due to the less transparency of opaque dentin compared to basic dentin.
Opaque dentin ceramics ULTROPALIN have 16 shades:

group B – ODB1, ODB2, ODB3, ODB4,
group C - ODC1, ODC2, ODC3, ODC4,
group D – ODC2, ODD3, ODD3
Opaque dentin ceramics Ultrapalin are produced in powder and packaged in jars of 30g or 100g
