Protective orthodontic wax for braces

is a special tool for protecting the soft tissues of the oral cavity from rubbing the protruding elements of the bracket system. Flake wax is especially necessary for use during adaptation to the parts of the brace (may vary from person to person). Allows the patient to feel as comfortable as possible in the first month of orthodontic treatment.

Advantages of protective wax (silicone):

• applied independently by the patient to the area that injures the cheeks and tongue
• pleasant to the taste (various flavors are available in the assortment)
• thanks to the wax, the mucous membrane easily gets used to a foreign object in the mouth
• easily removed from the orthodontic appliance (it is especially convenient to do this before eating)
• not toxic to the body, even if swallowed
• hypoallergenic

The wax is easily applied by hand and only later dries and falls off the element. Before applying, the plate must be warmed between the fingers. It is recommended to apply on clean and dry teeth.
