PREPARATION FOR MIXING Fuji I (Fuji 1)
a) The standard powder/liquid ratio is 1.8 g/1.0 g. This ratio can be obtained by mixing one full scoop of powder and two drops of liquid.
b) For a more accurate dosage, shake the bottle by lightly tapping it on the palm of your hand before each powder intake. Do not shake or invert the bottle.
c) Hold the bottle with the liquid vertically and squeeze out the liquid carefully.
d) Close the bottles with powder and liquid tightly immediately after
using.
MIXTURE Fuji I (Fuji 1)
Place the required amount of Fuji 1 powder and liquid on the kneading paper. Add all of the powder to the liquid at once and stir quickly with a plastic spatula for 20 seconds.
Note: To mix a large amount of material, divide the powder into two equal parts.
Mix the first portion with all the liquid for 5 seconds. Then add the rest of the Fuji 1 powder and mix thoroughly for another 15 seconds (total time 20 seconds).
TECHNIQUE OF FIXATION
a) Prepare the tooth using traditional methods.
b) Clean the prepared tooth with pumice stone and water only. Rinse and dry the tooth, BUT DO NOT OVERDRY. DO NOT REMOVE THE LUBRICATED LAYER. Use materials based on calcium hydroxide to cover the pulp.
c) Clean and dry the inner surface of the casting.
d) Mix the required amount of Fuji I cement (Fuji 1).
e) Cover the inner surface of the structure to be fixed with a layer of cement 1 mm thick and start fixing within 30 seconds after the end of mixing. DO NOT OVERFILL THE INTERIOR SPACE OF THE CROWNS. An increase in temperature reduces the working time.
f) The curing time of Fuji I (Fuji 1) is 4 min 30 s from the start of mixing. After the cement has hardened, remove excess cement and apply GC Fuji Varnish, or unfilled composite, to exposed areas of cement.
